  1. Facebook Inc on Thursday took down hundreds of Instagram accounts that were hacked and sold for their high-value usernames, including the accounts of people behind this activity. A Facebook spokeswoman said the people engaged in this rule-breaking practice were well-known figures in a community known as the OGUsers, who trade desirable usernames for popular websites from Twitter Inc to Netflix.

The DeskID UHF is a compact and well-priced RFID reader/writer working at 868 MHz (UHF RFID, EU). Its main use is to read and write data to EPC Gen 2 transponders directly from your PC or laptop. Metratec The driver interface for USB must be installed with the reader software from reader vendor. For the operation with Metratec special internal C functions are designed. With these functions the Metratec reader DESKID UHF can communicate through the USB to COM conversion.

2) Lab Setup

Download, and unzip the FEIG RFID Reader Software files here. Install the software as follows,

    Insert the FEIG RFID Reader Software CD. It will automatically open Index.pdf. If it does not just click open the CD and manually open Index.pdf

    Index.pdf contains all the navigation links necessary to access the Data Sheets for the hardware and links for installation of the software. To install the software, scroll to page 5 and click on Setup.exe. This will run the ID ISOStart V6.15 setup. The License Agreement window will appear, click Yes to agree.

    Then select the installation location, in most cases the suggested default, 'C:Program FilesOBIDISOStart' is ok. Click Next. A Program Folder selection window will appear, use the default folder 'OBIDID ISOStart V6.15.01' and click Next.

    A review window will appear, click Next to continue installation. When the installation is complete click Finish.

    Connect coaxial cable from the antenna to the Feig RFID Reader. Plug the power cord into the FEIG RFID Reader and connect the reader to the computer via USB. The computer should automatically detect the device. A New Hardware Wizard window will appear. It will ask if Windows can connect to Windows Update to search for the software, select No, not this time and click Next.

    The Wizard will then ask you how you would like to find the OBID RCI driver. Select Install the software automatically and click Next.

    Then select the 1st OBID RFID-Reader Configuration Interface and click Next.

    Then finalize the driver installation by clicking Finish.

    Then go to the programs menu and open OBID->ISOStart->ID ISOStart 6.15.01. New-File Assistant will appear to help select and configure the device, click Next.

    Make sure the Feig Reader is selected and it is on the USB port. Click Next.

    Then click Finish to complete device configuration.

    Upon completion of the device configuration it will bring you to the command window. Now all you have to do is click on the Test and Measurement Icon on the left side and you are ready to begin reading RFID Tags.
